My Hawaiian-Curry Fusion Burger is a delicious combination of two very distinct flavour profiles that come together in perfect harmony. This burger is perfect for those who love the sweet and tangy taste of pineapples and crave the spicy kick of curry. It’s a must-try for all burger enthusiasts looking for something new and exciting.

Burger Patty

Burger Patties

The star of the show, of course, is the juicy, meaty burger patty. It’s the perfect base for all the toppings that follow. The burger patty is seasoned with salt and pepper which complement the flavours of the pineapple and curry. It’s cooked to perfection, ensuring that it’s moist, flavourful, and packed with umami. Tip: Use my ultimate burger patty recipe for the tastiest patties on this burger.

Juicy Pineapple

The next essential ingredient is the sweet, juicy pineapple. The sweetness of the pineapple complements the spiciness of the curry perfectly, providing a balance of flavours that is simply irresistible. The pineapple is also a great source of vitamin C, making this burger not only delicious but also healthy. Grilling the pineapple brings out the sweetness and softens it slightly to make each bite easier and tasty.

Fresh, Crisp Red Onion

The red onion is another essential ingredient that adds crunch and a slightly tangy flavour to the burger. The red onion is sliced thinly and added to the burger patty, providing a contrasting texture to the soft and juicy pineapple.

Lettuce

The lettuce is added to the burger as a refreshing topping that helps balance out the spiciness of the curry. It also provides a beautiful, bright green colour that makes the burger look even more appetizing.

Curry Aioli

Finally, the curry aioli is the crowning glory of this delicious burger. The aioli is made by blending mayonnaise, curry powder, garlic, and lemon juice. It adds a creamy, tangy, and slightly spicy flavour to the burger that is simply irresistible. It’s the perfect sauce to bring all the flavours together.

Pick the Right Bun

Ultimately, use your favourite burger bun. However, I suggest you use an impressive bun that will add to the flavour and presentation of this delicious burger. A sourdough bun is a great choice, but can easily be switched with a brioche or kaiser bun. Regardless of the bin used, butter it and toast prior to assembly.

Assembly

To assemble the burger, start by toasting the buns to perfection. Then, add a generous dollop of curry aioli to the bottom bun. Add the lettuce on top of the aioli, followed by the juicy burger patty. Top the burger patty with thinly sliced red onions and a few pieces of sweet, juicy pineapple. Finally, add another dollop of curry aioli to the top bun, and place it on top of the burger.

The result is a delicious, mouth-watering burger that is sure to impress even the pickiest eaters. The flavours of the pineapple and curry blend together perfectly, creating a unique and memorable taste that you won’t find anywhere else. The red onion and lettuce add a refreshing crunch to the burger, while the curry aioli ties all the flavours together.

In conclusion, the Hawaiian-Curry Fusion Burger is a must-try for all burger lovers looking for something new and exciting. It’s a perfect combination of sweet and spicy flavours that will leave you craving more. Whether you’re looking for a quick and easy meal or want to impress your friends with your culinary skills, this burger is sure to be a hit. So go ahead, give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.
